We are very pleased to announce that continued growth over the last decade has allowed us to expand both our maintenance and design services, with a significant evolution over the last 12 months following strategic investments and restructuring.

Record Orders and Exponential Growth

Following year-on-year growth, we have witnessed record orders of more than £9m in the last 12 months for the TAG group of companies; a £2m increase on the previous year.

Our exponential growth is forecasted to continue into 2024/25 allowing us to surpass the £10m mark, based on orders already placed, pipeline and a 30% increase in contracted maintenance work.

Investment in Technology and People

We have also made significant investments in technology and people to support our growth.

In 2021, we invested in a new customer management system that gives us full sight of every part of the business, from leads and sales to maintenance and asset management. This has enabled us to work more efficiently and attract new clients.

In addition, we have expanded our design and project management team with three additional designers and two project managers. The team now works fully in Revit/BIM on all projects, which has helped to streamline the quoting and project delivery process.

A notable hire includes Colin Rendell, with previous experience at The Hummingbird Bakery and McClaren Automotive, joining as Head of Operations & Projects. Charlotte Carrie, a 2021 ceda Rising Star, has been promoted to Service Support Manager. And there have been three key promotions of senior engineers within the field service team.

Continued Growth and Success

Tyron Stephens-Smith, Project & Creative Director commented: “The last 18 months have been no mean feat, but we are really seeing the hard work and dedication of our team now paying dividends with this continued growth. It’s been fantastic to see the development of some great team members within the company who have been key to this progress.”

“The benefits of our improved internal efficiencies have created a significant future pipeline and increase in our maintenance and projects base.”

“It’s an exciting next phase of development for the company, with the focus on additional recruiting including the addition of a Head of Sales, the internal development of sales roles, and expansion of the field service team.”

This is a milestone year since our establishment in 1988 by Martin and Michaela Stephens-Smith, as a specialist in equipment servicing and maintenance. We have since progressed to be a leader in the design and installation of high-end, energy-efficient commercial kitchens working with the UK’s most prestigious venues.
