Our Catering Equipment Engineers & Response Times

Uniquely, our engineers are available as standard from 5am, or from 4am by appointment, to ensure we can complete your commercial kitchen maintenance and repairs before your service starts. We aim to be on-site within 24-hours of logging your callout, and often within 2 – 6 hours depending on our engineers’ location and availability.

Our engineers are trained to our own and industry standards, regularly attending manufacturers’ training courses to ensure they keep up-to-date with the latest products and repair procedures. This is in addition to our own in-house certified training.

TAG’s engineers are employed directly by us, are fully conversant with current health and safety regulations and are CSCS qualified. They are multi-skilled, allowing them to carry out more than one breakdown callout at a time, meaning less engineers on site, causing less disruption to the kitchen operation; saving time, callout charges and return calls.

We have specialist engineers that cover all types of commercial catering equipment including: Warewashing, Gas Equipment, Bratt Pans, Induction, Microwaves, Vac Pac Machines, Combination Ovens, Refrigeration, Air-Conditioning and more.

We also have strong links with Europe and can source parts direct from manufacturers, instead of going through third party suppliers. This is particularly invaluable when parts need to be sourced for non-standard equipment that may be old, custom-made or unbadged.

An extensive supply chain for fabrication and bespoke items means that we are well equipped to service and replace all catering equipment parts within the commercial kitchen environment.
