Equipment Wholesaler of the Year

This year, we are incredibly grateful to be shortlisted within this category, read our nomination below:

“Founded in 1988, TAG has grown into one of the UK’s most trusted independent specialists for commercial kitchen and bar projects, offering design, supply, installation and maintenance services supported by a 50‑strong in‑house team. With annual turnover exceeding £10m, TAG’s reach now spans premium hospitality operators including The Dorchester Collection, JW Marriott Grosvenor House, The Grove, The Sloane Club and the OXO Tower.”

“Over the past 12 months, the business has strengthened its market position through a major leadership transition, aligning its design, engineering and project delivery teams under a unified structure to improve agility and customer responsiveness. TAG also continues to champion BIM and Revit‑led design, enabling precise coordination and smoother project delivery across high‑profile sites such as JW Steakhouse, The Grove Staff Restaurant and ongoing projects for Corinthia London and St. Regis London.”

“A data‑led approach has been central to TAG’s performance. The company’s customer portal and bespoke internal reporting tools support accurate ROI modelling, equipment lifecycle planning and enhanced communication, allowing TAG to demonstrate measurable operational and sustainability gains for clients. This was exemplified at The Sloane Club, where post‑installation results outperformed projected energy and cost savings by up to 40%.”

“TAG’s commitment to quality, pricing transparency and delivery reliability has also driven market growth. Project wins increased 79% year‑on‑year, while turnover has risen 400% since COVID, with further growth forecast for 2025–2026. The engineering team has more than doubled in four years, reflecting TAG’s investment in service excellence and talent development.”

“In addition to its commercial achievements, TAG continues to build strong relationships with hospitality operators across the UK. Partnerships with brands such as The Evolv Collection and a leading 17‑site London hotel chain demonstrate TAG’s ability to deliver first‑time‑fix reliability, proactive service support and multi‑site consistency.”

“TAG’s in‑house marketing team has also played a crucial role in strengthening brand visibility, using authentic storytelling, project showcases and industry insights to build one of the largest competitor followings on LinkedIn and Instagram. Apprenticeship and junior designer programmes further highlight TAG’s commitment to nurturing future talent within the sector.”
