Hotel Kitchen Design Project One of 100 Greats

Hotel kitchen design project | Catering Insight 100 Greats

A London hotel kitchen design and installation project delivered by TAG Catering Equipment has been voted one of the 100 Greats by Catering Insight magazine.

Catering Insight has celebrated its 100th issue with a run-down of 100 of the UK’s catering equipment industry greats, ranging from People, Business Developments, Equipment Excellence and Projects. The final 100 highlights some of the biggest achievements and best catering equipment installations in the UK.

TAG is delighted to announce that its significant basement kitchen project for a 5* Park Lane Hotel in London has been included as one of the 100 Greats. Carried out over 18-months, including a detailed analysis and design process, the project completely reinvented the basement kitchen concept, creating a front-of-house aesthetic for the exclusive Chef’s Table experience.

It also included some of the most technologically advanced equipment including induction cooking and remote refrigeration and montioring, ensuring the kitchen remains a pleasant working environment with limited ambient heat.

This all helped to deliver a 5-year return-on-investment alongside increased operational and energy efficiency.

“We were deluged with nominations, so TAG should be justifiably proud of the inclusion” commented Clare Nicholls, editor of Catering Insight magazine.

The same project won the ceda Grand Prix Award 2019 “Design Project over £300k” and overall winner “Sir Donald Thompson Cup”.
