The Brief

We were entrusted by the client to design a “cook to serve” kitchen to replace their existing dated layout. They wanted a sleek and stylish alternative that could last for 15-plus years and capable of serving thousands of meals a week for staff.

The design would need to:

  • Keep up with food production in the busy area
  • Provide a theatrical experience for staff
  • Equipment needed to allow for flexibility with performance, yet keeping within budget
  • Provide a more ergonomic space for ambient storage
