The Brief
The Glasshouse Bar at The Grove is the entry point to the restaurant. Therefore the design would need to reflect the rest of the restaurant, setting the standard for quality and finishes.
The design needed to:
- Streamline the workflow between the bar services and restaurant
- Cope with the demands of The Glasshouse structure behind as well as walk-in guests to the bar area only
- Integrate a backlit, liquor step to display bottles without looking like shelving
- Provide a small food offering and manage the removal of dirty plates
