The fit:
- Intuition for hands-on work, repairing equipment, whether electrical or mechanical
- Previous exposure to electrical or plumbing work beneficial (such as a college qualification)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- UK Driving License (if over 25 for insurance purposes)
The role:
- Complete the ceda (Catering Equipment Distributors Association) Catering Equipment Service and Installation Apprenticeship.
- Become a fully-qualified Catering Equipment Engineer with full COMCAT / Gas Safe and F-Gas certifications.
- Support the attendance of breakdown callouts and repairs of all commercial catering equipment.
- Maintenance and servicing of commercial equipment on a planned basis.
- Working collaboratively as part of a large team.
- Dynamic working hours, choosing to join our ‘early’ or ‘late’ shift team.
- Dealing directly with our customers including other engineers and chefs.
- Working in Central London, Greater London and the Home Counties.
