The Brief
We were asked to redesign the Waitrose Café so it could be rolled out and applied to all sites across the UK. They wanted to upgrade their cafes from tired, worn out, and dated spaces to a clean, modern, and on-brand feel. The design would need to:
- Create an independent coffee shop experience
- Improve the customer journey
- Support larger sites with the option to offer cooked meals aswell as pre-pared food-to-go options
- Provide a more ergonomic space for ambient and chilled goods storage
