The Project
Located in the heart of the New Forest, New Park Manor boasts a rich history dating back to the 15th century. When tasked with modernizing the kitchen at their A La Carte restaurant, The Vinery, as part of a larger hotel refurbishment, not only did we have to work within a tight budget, but we also faced a tight deadline to minimize disruption.
The client’s existing kitchen, heavily reliant on gas appliances, was outdated, inefficient, and challenging for staff to navigate. Our solution was to create an all-electric kitchen that would not only enhance the working environment but also streamline operations.
To adhere to the strict budget, we repurposed some existing catering equipment, strategically placing them within the new layout. We also significantly improved the cookline and warewashing area with new Electrolux Professional and Winterhalter equipment, boosting overall efficiency.
A key design consideration was to preserve the building’s historical character. We achieved this by installing a sophisticated ventilation system that discreetly concealed all ductwork, ensuring the exterior’s timeless appeal remained intact.
